My working area covers every district of Toulon, from the upper town and the lower town to Le Mourillon, from Pont du Las to Saint-Jean-du-Var, from Sainte-Musse to Cap Brun, from La Rode to Siblas, and with those in the neighbouring towns, Ollioules, La Valette-du-Var, La Garde and Le Revest-les-Eaux. Each district has its own trading life, the cours Lafayette market every morning except Monday over more than a kilometre, the market and boutiques of Le Mourillon, the Pont du Las market, and a local site names these places the way people search for them.
Building trades weigh heavily around the harbour, with 1,889 construction businesses counted at the end of 2024 according to INSEE, painters, electricians, plumbers and gardeners who work for villa owners in Cap Brun as much as for apartment blocks in Sainte-Musse. Then there are the restaurant owners and shopkeepers of Le Mourillon and the centre, whose boutiques and galleries open every day except Monday, the fishmongers and stallholders of cours Lafayette, and the companies that work for the naval base or for the port. Each of these trades gets different questions, and therefore different pages.
Take an electrician based in Saint-Jean-du-Var who works across the whole harbour area. His site would have a home page that says in one sentence what he does and where, an emergency page with a tappable number and honest response times, a rewiring and fuse board page with photos of his own jobs, an air conditioning or charging point page if he installs them, one page for each town he works in most, Toulon, La Garde, La Valette-du-Var and Ollioules, a reviews page pulling in his Google listing, and a short contact page. Each page targets a search people type, 'électricien Saint-Jean-du-Var' or 'dépannage électrique Toulon', and that structure is what moves it up.
That structure works just as well for a beach restaurant in Le Mourillon, a hair salon in Pont du Las, a nursing practice in La Valette-du-Var or a removals company working with military families, with pages that follow what customers ask. What I put forward for a manual trade is described on the website for tradespeople page. And if your customers also come from the Aix area, I cover website creation in Aix-en-Provence with the same formula and the same plan, so that one site covers both areas.
