My journey
I started in 2010, building WordPress sites for freelance clients. Responsive design wasn't the norm yet, so much of the work was adapting existing themes so they would run on every device, and that's where I learned to care about the details people notice.
In 2016 I took the lead on OceanWP, a free WordPress theme that went on to reach around 500,000 installations. I hired developers, reviewed their code and set the coding standards the project ran on, and I'm still the second most active contributor to its repository.
From 2019 I worked in agencies, first at Agence KN in Lyon, then at trivial mass, and from 2025 at Vayalis, where I built client websites and the AI agents the agency ran in production. Working in teams on client projects taught me process discipline and how to talk with very different kinds of clients.
Today most of my work is TypeScript and AI. I build web apps with React, Next.js and Node.js, and AI agents that plan, call tools and recover when a step fails, with a human approving every sensitive action. On the side I build my own products, like LinkedGrow and Amabrik, and WordPress plugins published on wordpress.org.
