My journey
It all started in 2010, self-taught, building simple WordPress sites as a freelancer. Responsive design was not yet the norm, so most of the work consisted of adapting existing themes so they would run on every device.
In 2016, I launched OceanWP, a WordPress theme that went on to cross five hundred thousand active sites in the following years. The same year, I founded Vayalis as a French sole proprietorship (auto-entrepreneur) to structure my self-employed activity. That period taught me that building a product that lasts is not a matter of luck, it is a matter of care on every detail.
Between 2021 and 2025, I balanced freelance work (WordPress, Shopify dropshipping) with agency experience: Agence KN in Lyon, then trivial mass SA in Lausanne. Working in teams taught me as much as working alone, especially process discipline and communicating with very different kinds of clients.
Early 2025, I founded DigiHold to carry the WordPress ecosystem I had been building in parallel. In January 2026, I launched LinkedGrow, an AI tool for LinkedIn built around one conviction: that users should pay for their API, not a middleman taking a margin on the real cost.
