Websites on a monthly plan, Dijon and its metropolitan area

Website creation in Dijon

I design and code custom websites for business owners in Dijon and its surrounding towns, from Chenôve to Quetigny, on a monthly plan that covers design, hosting, security and updates. The Essential plan starts at €1 on order then €39 a month excluding tax, and the Visibility plan at €1 on order then €79 a month, with pages and articles written every month for Google and for answer engines such as ChatGPT. Your site goes live less than 48 hours after the order, the domain name is registered in your name and the source code belongs to you from day one. There's no template and no WordPress behind it, and two clients never get the same site.

01

Why does a business in Dijon need its own website?

A business in Dijon needs its own website because its customers look it up on Google before they walk in or call, and a Google listing on its own shows neither your prices nor the way you work. Dijon had 161,830 inhabitants in 2023 according to INSEE, plus the towns of the metropolitan area, and when someone in Talant has a leaking pipe or wants a caterer for a christening, they type the trade followed by the city or the district, then open the first two or three results. Without a site you aren't on that list, and the job goes to the neighbour who is.

A Facebook page or a paid directory entry doesn't replace a website, because you control neither how it's displayed nor how long it stays up, and because visitors mostly find dated posts there. On your own site, someone living in Montchapet sees within seconds your opening hours, the area you cover, photos of real jobs done in Dijon and a call button that works from a phone. For a caterer near the Halles, the page can state the market days, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning, and what's on the counter each week. Those concrete details are what make people call you rather than a competitor in Longvic.

The monthly plan mostly changes how you pay, because a custom website is usually settled in one go, with an amount that makes many tradespeople in Dijon put the decision off for years. Here you pay a setup fee and then a monthly amount that covers hosting, daily backups, security monitoring, technical fixes and text or image changes delivered within two working days. The website on a monthly subscription page explains what this model includes and what it doesn't hide, and the affordable custom website page explains why the price holds without a ready made template or a duplicated page.

02

Which districts and towns around Dijon do I cover?

I work with businesses across the whole Dijon metropolitan area, from the city centre to Grésilles, from Montchapet to Toison d'Or, from Fontaine d'Ouche to Port du Canal, and in the neighbouring towns such as Chenôve, Talant, Quetigny, Longvic, Fontaine-lès-Dijon or Saint-Apollinaire. Each of these districts has its own search habits, its own local shops and its own market, Fontaine d'Ouche on Wednesday morning, Grésilles on Thursday and Saturday, and a local site has to talk about these precise places rather than about Burgundy in general. I come and see you on site when that helps, and the rest is handled by video call or phone.

The trades I meet most often in Dijon are building trades and food businesses. According to INSEE, the city had 1,021 construction businesses at the end of 2024, plumbers, electricians, painters and tilers who live on referrals and local searches. Alongside them, the stallholders of the Halles and of rue Odebert and rue Bannelier, the wine merchants selling the wines of the Côte, the mustard and gingerbread makers, and the hotels and restaurants that host the conference crowd all need an online address that shows what they sell, to whom, and how to reach them without going through a paid directory.

Take a plumber and heating engineer based in Chenôve who works across the metropolitan area. His site would have a home page that says in one sentence what he does and where, an emergency page with a tappable number and honest response times, a heat pump and boiler installation page with photos of his own jobs, one page for each town he works in most, Dijon, Chenôve, Longvic and Talant, a reviews page pulling in the reviews from his Google listing, and a contact page with a short form. Each page targets one precise search, 'chauffagiste Chenôve' or 'dépannage chaudière Dijon', and that structure is what moves the site up the results.

The same logic applies to a hair salon in the city centre, a bakery in Quetigny, an osteopath in Saint-Apollinaire or a garage in Longvic, with pages that differ because the customers' questions differ. The website for tradespeople page describes what I put forward when the client sells a skill rather than a product on a shelf. And if your work spills over into the Doubs, I also cover website creation in Besançon with the same formula, the same plan and the same way of working, which lets you run a single site for two cities.

03

How do you get found on Google in Dijon?

In Dijon, getting found on Google happens in two places at once, the map block with the business listings, and the classic results right below it. People type short local searches, 'plombier Dijon', 'électricien Chenôve', 'coiffeur Dijon Montchapet', and Google ranks the businesses whose listing and website tell the same story, same name, same address, same phone number, same services. A site with one page per service and per town answers those searches one by one, where a single page that talks about everything ranks for nothing. I explain the mechanics in my article on local SEO for a small business.

Your Google Business Profile is the other half of the work, and it needs regular upkeep rather than a single setup. You have to pick the right main category, fill in the hours including public holidays, add recent photos of your jobs or your shop, answer reviews, and post an update now and then. On the Visibility plan I handle this every month along with the rest, and I send you a report on your positions in Dijon and the towns around it, so you see what moves when a page is added or a category is corrected.

Answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI Overviews quote pages that answer one precise question clearly, with facts and an address. That's why the Visibility plan adds four pages and four articles every month, written on verified searches, for instance the price of a chimney sweep in Dijon or how long a bathroom refit takes, with structured data and links between the pages. This content also reaches people searching from Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur or Plombières-lès-Dijon, and it builds up month after month instead of vanishing like a paid ad.

04

How does building your website in Dijon work?

It starts with a conversation of about an hour, at your place in Dijon or by video call, where I note what you sell, to whom, in which towns, and what your customers ask most often on the phone. I collect your photos, your existing texts if you have any, your logo, and I look at your Google listing and your direct competitors in the metropolitan area. Then I design and code a complete first version of the site, with every page, without a template or a page builder, and I send it to you on a private link to review.

You review the site at your own pace, you tell me what's wrong, a word, a photo, the order of the pages or a price, and I correct it until everything is right. Before going live, the site passes a check on speed, accessibility and technical SEO, and I check how it looks on a phone, because most local searches in Dijon happen on mobile. Going live follows your approval, usually less than 48 hours after the order, with the timing depending mostly on how fast your feedback comes back.

After the launch, I stay in charge of the site day to day. Text and image changes are delivered within two working days, hosting, backups and monitoring run every day, and you receive a monthly report on traffic and uptime. The commitment is twelve months, after which you can cancel any month with one month's notice, and you can ask for a full export of the site at any time, even during the commitment, delivered within fifteen days. The details of both plans and the first year total are on the website subscription pricing page.

06 The price

Why this price does not lower the quality

The price comes from how the site is built and maintained, not from a sacrifice on the design or the code.

01

A site designed and coded, not a template

No purchased theme, no page builder. The layout, the copy and the code are written for your business, after research on what your competitors do and on what your customers type into Google. Two clients never receive the same site.

02

Performance and security are measured

Before going live, every site passes a check on speed, accessibility and technical SEO, and it does not ship until the score is where it should be. A fast, clean site costs less to host and maintain, and that saving is in the price.

03

Automation pays the difference

Hosting, backups, monitoring and the monthly report are automated, and I have spent sixteen years building this kind of tooling. Human time goes to the design, the copy and your change requests, not to the repetitive tasks others bill you for every month.

04

No financing, no hidden clause

You pay €1 or €1 at the order, then a monthly plan for twelve months, with no credit company and no lease contract. The first year total sits at the top of the quote, and the domain and the code stay yours, with an export of the site within 15 days on request.

Frequently asked questions about website creation in Dijon

How much does website creation cost in Dijon?

With me, a custom site for a business in Dijon costs €1 on order then €39 a month excluding tax on Essential, which is €469 for the first year, or €1 then €79 a month on Visibility, which is €949. These amounts cover design, hosting, security and updates, and the first year total sits at the top of every quote.

How long does website creation take in Dijon?

Allow less than 48 hours between the order and going live for a business in Dijon or its metropolitan area. I first deliver a complete first version for you to review, then I apply your corrections, and the site goes live after your approval. The timing depends mostly on how quickly you send back your photos and your remarks.

Do the site and the domain name really belong to me?

Yes, the domain name is registered in your name from the start, and the site's code belongs to you from day one. You can ask for a full export of the site at any time, even during the twelve month commitment, and I deliver it free of charge within fifteen days. There's no finance company and no hidden lease behind the plan.

What happens to my site if I stop the plan after a year?

After the first twelve months, you can cancel any month with one month's notice. You leave with your domain name and the full export of the site, which you can host elsewhere or hand to another provider. What stops is the hosting, the backups, the changes and the monthly report that I was providing each month.

Do you travel to Dijon and the towns of the metropolitan area?

Yes, I come and meet you in Dijon, Chenôve, Talant, Quetigny or another town of the metropolitan area when a meeting on site helps me understand your business, for instance to photograph a workshop or a shop. The rest of the work, the review and the corrections, happens by video call and phone, which is faster for you.

Is an online shop or a booking system included in the plan?

No, the online shop, the booking system, the client area and other business features are quoted separately, on top of the plan, because they need work specific to each activity. Both plans cover a complete brochure site with its pages, its photos, its hours and its contact form. On the Essential plan, an extra page gets a small quote.

08 Compare before you sign

A site coded for you, at the price of a kit site

  • 01 The code and the domain name are yours from day one, with an export of the site within 15 days
  • 02 No WordPress and no page builder, every page is designed and written for your business
  • 03 Speed, accessibility and technical SEO are measured before the site goes live

Among the French offers under 100 € a month we reviewed in August 2026, none displayed these three commitments together.
